I haven't been getting the results I want from my website so I have given myself a massive challenge - write 50 quality articles in the next 30 days.

This may not be a lot for some of you, but considering my current rate of 1 or 2 articles a month it will be quite a stretch for me. I will be way out of my comfort zone but I look forward to the challenge.

Anyone interested in joining me by doing a 30 day challenge of your own?

Hey Roy... I notice that no one responded to your post so I thought I would add a comment.

Hats off to you for setting such an aggressive 30 day challenge. Will you be posting these articles on the blog in your sig? Maybe use this thread to update us as you have written new articles. It would be a great accountability system for you!

    Good work and good luck!

  • Thank you for the encouragement! I have not been able to spend as much time as I would have liked on writing, but so far I have 1 finished article as well as 4 rough drafts that still need editing and polish.

After reading the post about Associated Content in the Main Internet Marketing Forum, I'm going to submit the first few articles to them to check out the site. I do plan on posting them all to my blog afterward.

      Roy,

Good luck! Writing a 250 to 500 word article is easy. Writing a 250 to 500 word 'effective' article is tricky. ; )

What's your niche? Mine is computers. I have a few articles on my site and ezinearticles. But yes, I would wager that MANY of the folks on WF can write a few dozen more articles... myself included.

Let us know how it goes. : )

      • Brandon,

My niche is self improvement/personal development.

As for my challenge, my progress has not been good. I made the mistake of trying to tailor my writing to Associated Content's submission guidelines. This proved to be a waste of time as they rejected all my articles for upfront payment, saying they weren't specific enough to be found in an internet search or not unique enough content. The unique content thing is funny because I write from my personal experience, but it is what it is.

I have posted the first 3 finished articles on my blog so far.

Yeah writing stuff for Associated Content can be tough sometimes. If they're not rejecting my articles, they're giving me a low ball amount for my articles.

There are people who make money writing articles for AC, but I'm not one of them.
