Getting your mind right

i have been studying success ..motivation..marketing(online and offline)..spirituality..and several other subjects intensely for 10 years or more...for a realitively simple reason ..

I had had a nervous breakdown..from job stress and was suffering from bi polar disorder..though it was hidden by the stress disorderr ..so it was a basic survival method to keep my from going completely insane..but it only ever kind of help..but i managed to go from one stressfull job ..into a physically stressfull job ..that only made thing worse ..

i kept myself broke through this time period as money would not have helped.and in the state i was in .. it would have probably just led to drug use as i do have an extremly addictive personality .

anyway moving on ..it was only a few months ago ..the end of November that i got my mind right..after getting off meds which had only made me not care .

We all have our journey but we can't reallty be successful until we get our minds in order and get ourselves right ..though we can still be strange and crazy. once we figure out who we are and decide to be true to ourselves ..only then can we hope to achieve success in all areas of our lives ..

yes i am currently broke..but that will change soon enough ..which is why i am back here snooping around ..but in a few short months i have gotten into a much more balanxced state,, i have gone from being one of the most tense people you would have ever met..to being rather relaxed ..and i have healed a back condition that only 5 months ago i was considering going on disability ..and i have mostly heald my hands from realy bad pain in my knuckles ..

success builds on success and gets clues on what to avoid from past failures. it about getting into the right mindset..then getting success somewhere and gaining momentum and grabbing another success ..and keeping the successes happening often enough that you notice .

financial success is only one kind of success ..but there is a point where to become more of a success in other areas ..you have to raise your fincial success level..but if you focus only on the financial success area ..you can get away with letting those other areas go ..until it kills you ..

we are all now our own guru's ..

    Hi Odahh,

    Thanks for sharing.

By the sound of it you are heading in the right direction and as your mindset has changed your stress levels have come down and you can now notice the success that you are having with your body and your mind and you can then use those successes as a stepping stone to work on financial improvement, one small step at a time.

I wish you well with your journey.

Financial success is a by-product of doing something so well that people pay to have it or experience it.
Taking away inheritance money and winning the lottery, your financial success depends on building a business that has a strong foundation and then having competence in money management.
Once you have that in place, you then have to put in place coping mechanisms that will enable you to be consistent with running your business.

Having the right balance with help with having the right mindset. The ebb and flow of your life will always be changing in business, relationships, health, etc...but as long as you aim to keep a balance things will work themselves out.

And you're right...you need to be your OWN guru....and be unstoppable.

(As Donald Trump said after he filed his 2nd bankruptcy, "I've always been rich, I'm just Temporarily broke.")

i use to read a lot of gary halbert..one thing that stuck out is he said to not use poor or broke the same way ..poor is a state of mind ..broke is a temporary condition ..or something along those lines ..

over time i have become relativly anal about the use of certain words that can mean different things ..love ..success ..rich..failure ..on and on ..

One of the big benifits of studying marketing and advertising.. even if you don't use it..is that you understand the programing and mixxed messages that come at you most of the day ..

I'm not sure if I have any disorder although I have been "accused" of being bipolar. By the by, I have never been in a job or with a company longer than a year and a few months. There is absolutely nothing wrong with me in terms of aptitude and skills. In fact, I always get the dirtiest of dirty words: "promising". After a few months or so, I just start feeling stifled and stressed. Not because the work is unbearable - quite the opposite, it becomes stagnating, stultifying. I have tried "MIND OVER MATTER", I thought if I just set my mind to like my job and be thankful for it I'd be fine and some days it does work. But at the end of the day, though the mind can overcome matter, it can't overcome the heart. So now I'm working at home fulltime having quit my recent job a few days ago. And so far, I'm loving the freedom it offers. "LOVING IT".
