Or have plans to this year?

TED conferences hold a number of motivating, informative, and usually very insightful talks, most of the talks are less than 15 minutes. (Man! I wish some webinar hosts would take a hint from this!) If you haven't had the pleasure, head over to TED.com and watch a talk that strikes your interest. You probably won't be disappointed.

They're held throughout the year and around the world, anyone headed to one? (TEDx counts too)

    I haven't... Yet.

    But it's on my bucket list and I plan to in the near future.

    The talks can be so insightful and inspirational. I could (and have) spend hours on the TED website

      Never, but I've seen plenty of these on TED.com, pretty interesting stuff... Just saw a thing yesterday on Yahoo about a flying car that I saw talked about on TED about 5-6 months ago. Ahead of the game indeed...

    I attended the TEDx conference in Detroit a couple of years ago. They really have a great vibe to them.

    TED conferences are absolutely the best! These experts have mastered the art of the effective and to the point presentation. I was a nominee to appear at TED 2 years ago. I'm still working to improve my presentation, I'm good but they're great.

    I do have video of a presentation I did at Everest University recently tell me what you think. The video's are at the New Thought Generation blog @ Newthoughtgeneration.com. I will appear at TED for a conference raising awareness for a cause very very soon. I have believe!

      That is definitely on my plans for the near future. A friend of mind went to Tedx here in Austin a couple of years back and she literally glowed for days after from all that she learned.
