Our beleif system holds the key to everything!!

Excuse the thread title, let me explain..

At least half the successful marketers I have met either online or in the flesh have all something very much in common.

So as not to confuse anyone here, they all (pretty much all) use visualization with regards their goals, daily affirmations but most commonly find the time to get in a meditative state, reiterating their goals and dreams.

But this is not what they all have in common, not at all!

All successful people be it marketers, bankers, company owners all have in common is this..

They have this amazing belief system that surpasses any self help techniques hands down.

They have a belief system that doesn't contemplate failure. Failure is not an option, it doesn't exist. Sure they have the same hurdles to overcome but they overcome them because they see them as challenges, excited by the challenge they always surpass and move onto the next hurdle.

I write this thread from much experience, I studied the law of attraction for many years. I have watched so many video's on tube, read a ton of books, daily affirmations, visualizations, you name it, I tried it. But nothing, no flourishing bank account no success, just old me

I wasn't a confident lad I have to say, never had much confidence in myself growing up. But in my head the outcome was always mapped out. I was not smart enough, quick enough, thin enough, whatever I needed to be, I wasn't it!

I had all this drive and willingness to succeed but was stuck in a place where nothing was possible. I needed to address the route of the problem, re-program my hard drive!

This thread is already too long, with the long and the short of it being that until I was able to change my belief system, all the other stuff was a complete waste of time, hence the name of this thread. With this behind me, I am now enjoying the fruits of my labor, I have manifested things and people into my life that I was never able to do until I addressed the route cause and reprogrammed.

If this all sounds so familiar, I urge you to find the route cause before trying to chip away..

There are many ways to do this, we are all individual and each will respond in different ways, the method that works for me will not necessary be suited to you. The only thing we do have in common is that you need to fix this first. Only then will the other stuff fall happily into place.

Oh.. and it does, it really does!

I wish you well

John

Well after reading your post. I completely agree, but I ask you this question:

With your methods, do you feel successful? Do you feel your methods have incrementally increased had you not had used your methods?

      Gary, absolutely YES.

I was not successful until I managed to overcome this, which is why I felt the need to share it. In fact I don't think I would have ever reached my goals until I did.

All 3 techniques are just tools to help you get there and they all work in there own right but unless you have an unwavering faith that you can get there, it's a complete waste of time. All of it!

Now when I meditate or visualize, I am open to receiving it, before the gates were ever so slightly a-jar..

I not saying that this is easy, as I know all too well it is not. But it has to be conquered first.

      Good luck!

      Hi Rob,

What worked for me Rob was a combination of things which is why this is so complex and individual.
      • I read a ton of books about mindset
      • I stopped watching the news, in fact I refused to listen to any negativity of any kind..
      • I only read the back of the newspaper (sports section)
      • I learned EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques)
      • I listened to hypnosis tapes reminding me of how great I was
      • I learned to forgive people - this was a BIG ONE for me!
      • I learned not to judge others
Whilst this may seem like a comprehensive list, it really isn't, you soon start to see results. Get on the right side of your belief system and anything is possible.

Then attack each goal with these principles:
      1. Clear and definite goal (be very specific)
      2. Others focused - help others reach their goals
      3. Gratitude - be grateful for everything (even the bad stuff, there is something to be gained from every situation)
      4. Unwavering faith - Nothing is going to stop you getting it! NOTHING
      I wish you well
