WHAT TURN DREAMS INTO REALITY?

Everything begins with a dream. Dreamers are solution providers. The creative picture of the future that they constantly see in their hearts is the driving force that culminated into productive actions that has blessed this generation in no small measure. Microsoft was a dream in the heart of Bill Gates; Google was a dream in the heart of Sergey Brin and Larry Page; Apple computer was only a dream in the heart of Steve jobs. All these great men created enormous wealth by doing just one thing: they follow their dreams! How did they do it? Let me show you how...

1. Hard work: the only substitute for hard work is hard life! You have the sole responsibility to thoroughly research your ideas, your vision, and your dreams. It's only what is needed that is demanded. So if your vision is not serving anybody it's a dead vision. That is why hard work is very essential in the pursuit of success. A hard worker will always make inquiries about how his dreams will work. He will always wake up in the morning and sleep late in the night perfecting every thing that needs perfection in his idea. Hard work does not kill its laziness that kills fast like a bomb attack. I am yet to see a man or woman that succeeds without hard work. Seeking expert advise; making a thorough research and effective partnership and parts and parcel of hard work in action.

2. Recovery: Believe that everything is for a reason! Whatever happens to you is for your own good. Whatever happens to you positive or negative is for your own good. For instance stop seeing failure as an obstacle and start seeing failure as a stepping stone to a greater height. That's what I mean by recovery! Thomas Edison was reported to have failed 10,000 times before his dreams came to light. If you really desire to see your dreams come to reality, you must expect some sets of failure. Failure is success turned inside out. Failure is one of the tricks of destiny to test you if you are really in love of your dream. When you face any obstacle, never forget the words of Sir Winston Churchill who advised, NEVER, NEVER, NEVER GIVE UP. That's what I call recovery.

3. Vision: Every looks but few see! Its only what you see that you seize but what you see, you believe, what you believe, you behave and its what you behave that you become. Anytime you get discourage switch to the picture in your heart you will see how easily you get back fully charged.

4. Do what you love. To achieve your dream you do whatever it takes with passion to make your positive dream come reality. Whatever you do, do it with a burning desire and you will be amazed on how fast you achieve your dream.

Nice article. Well for me hard work turns dreams into reality. There is a quote "Some people dream of success while others wake up and work hard at it" and i am among those people who dream a lot and then wake up and work at it as well to turn it into reality
    Thanks

    • That is definitely a great quote. I know it is a number of things such as:

      Focus Action
      Extreme Desire
      Desire to change
      Motivation
      Money & Creativity
Knowledge of knowing what works & what does not
      Coach/ Mentor

Most importantly, the person who has to dream to do whatever it takes to turn into reality.

I have been a dreamer forever, and I love the fact that people think the same way that I do. It is amazing to me that the internet even exists and that I can hear from the minds of many people who see opportunity and believe in creative forward motion.

Motivation to succeed comes from an inner drive to do whatever it takes.
      Success is a choice!!!

This is the simplest but most effective of all philosophies because apart from carrying a great message it is also very specific it motivates you and tells what you need to do to go about succeeding in fulfilling your dreams.

While the idea of working hard sounds logical, the truth is that those who achieve great success know how to delegate work to others. They may work hard, or they may not, depending on what they want to do.

The years I spent working hard were the least successful years of my life. I didn't truly see success until I stopped working so hard and learned how to focus my energies on the RIGHT things.

I completely agree with the point about never giving up. Whether your actions produce success or failure doesn't matter as much as how much you learned from the experience. As long as you learn from everything that happens and move forward to try again, success is an eventual certainty.

And as someone who teaches the power of belief, I whole-heartedly agree with this point. Your beliefs become your reality. Period.

There are some people who have shared their experiences with hard work as not being too effective.I think success requires a little more patience than some times people anticipate for them.Infact lots of patience and persistent work is required on the daily basis towards a goal you have set for your self.

    Hi Olu,

A dream will always be a dream until you make it happen by taking massive action.

Most people in the world do not take action and live their lives watching their dreams slip away which is really sad, when most dreams can be obtained by taking a very few positive steps in the right direction.

Deciding what you want is the number 1 part of obtaining your desires, but taking action is the 2nd equally important part of goal getting.

If you do not have a list of goals already I recommend writing them down and if possible putting them onto audio so that each morning when you wake and last thing at night you can listen to them and feel the goals.

It works for me to do this and then upon hearing your goals you can start to plan the action you need.

    Nice article.

The seed of every great action is a dream.all true achievers started out their journey with a dream ,formulated an action plan to achieve it and then acted on that plan, but yes they always made course correction along the way.

Action on a daily basis or at least weekly basis.

If anyone has followed through with the tips in Babara Sher's old book Wishcraft you know how important it is to take focused, consistent action (with the help of a flow chart possibly)

Also, having a network of people to support you and provide some resources as you go about taking action is also very important but again action is the bridge that turns dreams into reality. A contact can give you an idea that may make a nice bit of cash but it all comes down to you putting that idea into action. You can know all the things you need to achieve your goal but if no action you'll get no results.

olu peters (and every one else who's contributed so far),

Thanks to you all for everything you've added here. I've pick a few lessons from it.

I believe sometimes hard work pays but it is usually best to work smart not too hard to a point you have no time for your loved ones or to look after yourself. I learned from Napoleon Hill (Author of Think & Grow Rich) that a burning Desire, mixed with a little bit of faith & action makes any dream turn to reality.

So dream big! & mix it with some faith but remember faith without work is dead; faith without work is a waste of time...

Yes, it is a good feeling to take a step back from all the earning and see where it belongs in one's life. I think all the points made are right, but as regards doing what you love and following your dream, it's also important to distinguish between the true dreams that come from one's real self and those that come from one's ego.

True dreams help us to find the meaning of life through our work. Ego dreams can lead us down paths that are very wrong for us personally, even if good enough in themselves. This almost always leads to a waste of effort. Life is short, so it's best to get on the right path as fast as possible.

Someone asked if helping other people realize their dreamds would make them willing to reciprocate. Quite possible, but on the whole I think it's better to help other people without hoping for something material in return.
