TOR is the most popular package/company for basically defeating attempts to track and ban by connection.

Firefox may be the FIRST, and might even be the ONLY browser to provide the ability for a LIMITED *****MEMORY BASED COOKIE***** browser connection! That means TWO things:

    1. Some newer commands, like getting browser history, don't work.
    2. When you close down the app, the cookie info, AND ADDED history I believe, VANISHES.

So YEAH, they work. TOR IS API driven though, so if you use the wrong browser, or other software, TOR won't be used. If you want it to be CONNECTION driven, you can use a router, like ONION.
