    I had a crow who used to drop bits of foil and shiny rocks (sometimes on my head). He would sit on the picnic table in my yard and eat seed I put out for him and chatter to me the whole time. He would also fly down if I shook my car keys in the air....and he'd try to steal them out of my hand.

    When he was around I had to drive away quickly because he'd try to peck a hole in my convertible top if I was sitting in the car.

    Crows are exceedingly smart.

      We now have 2 crows behind our store, that know when I go out to take out the trash. Every day, I take out the scraps from lunch. And every day, the two crows are waiting. The no longer fly away when I go out back. But they sure do squawk when the see me.

    My niece is a vet tech and they tried to rescue a crow that someone shot not long ago. She loved that bird - talked a lot about it's bright personality. Unfortunately it didn't make it and it struck her almost like losing a pet. They're very kewl little animals.

    Here's a way to make money! Use a vending machine full of peanuts to get crows to collect stray coins on the street for you and deposit them in the vending machine in exchange for peanuts. Animal behavior researcher Josh Klein successfully did this.
