Police think they have all the power but all it takes is a simple video and they can lose their jobs. People like that don't deserve to be in a position of power!

I have plenty of police as customers. I've seen them when they are at home (while I'm selling).

They are an interesting group. At least half of the ones I've met are bullies. Not that they are evil, but they enjoy having power over people. It's possibly what attracted them o police work in the first place. Some just like the regimentation. They would be comfortable as soldiers.

And a few are just average people that thought it would be interesting and secure work.

But so far, all have been civil (when I'm getting a ticket).

It's like this cop was having a breakdown. I'm just glad he wasn't piloting a plane.

To be fair, we have no idea what went on before the filming. But I can't imagine it as bad enough to provoke this ranting.

The job the policeman has, gives him a position of power . Some policemen mistake it as their own personal power over someone else.

What if they're not stars? What if they are holes poked in the top of a container so we can breath?

NO THEY WOULDN'T! SOLDIERS have to work harder, and can face more danger!

YOU'RE LUCKY! I've had a couple that were like this guy or worse!

You can say all that again! Some people get upset at this sort of thing with a little beep. The UBER driver may have wanted to park or something, and beeped several times. One thing is for sure. The driver got third party support, which means a LOT, even in a court of law! USUALLY they side with the police, but with a 3rd party, for the defendent, they generally have to side with the defendant.

          Steve; Please calm down.
There is a military aspect to police work that some find appealing. That's what I meant.

I was emphasizing. WHAT, you think I am going to blow a gasket or something? I am now actually monitoring my pulse constantly. It really only spikes about the time I get up or exercise, not here!

Steve, we have tried to explain this concept to you before: typing in capital/uppercase letters online is equivalent to yelling in person.
So when Claude tells you to calm down, it's because it seems like you're yelling at everyone - as well as misunderstanding what he actually meant.

How was what he said discriminatory(in the PC sense)? I NEVER agreed with the stupid policy of the US in "parallel parking" anyway! It is dangerous, ESPECIALLY in the most common way, which this was. Seinfeld even did an episode on it. Where I am, we have little less than 3 lanes in the edition, AND WAVY, roads, and people will parallel park on IT! SOMETIMES, they will do so on both sides, and even WILDLY ILLEGALLY!!!!!! An LAPD cop told me once that the wildly illegally way(against traffic) doesn't even have a code for it, it is so illegal! He said that a cop will merely cite you for being parked too far from the curb! In my case, that would mean being parked perhaps 10' from the curb! That is 10 FEET, or about 3 METERS!

And I don't really know what blinkers will do. I mean you say you are turning right, when you are actually backing up and, HOPEFULLY, parking to the right(in the US at least). All that said, people like that shouldn't be something like cops. He supposedly tried to have a discussion, but doesn't want to hear you, and feels he has SO much authority?

BTW if my neighbors are reading this..... I have resolved that if the cars get too packed here, I WILL start HONKING! If no car is there, OH WELL.... But I will make it clear to cars, that MIGHT be in front of me, that I am coming. This may be a nuisance to the neighbors at 3am or some such, but at least one of them is the "responsible" party, and honking, and disturbing them, is preferable to NOT honking them, DYING and/or getting maimed, and disturbing them with the sound of cars crashing.
