What's the diff between Warriorforum.net vs. com?

I've been totally flummoxed about the difference between warriorforum.net vs. warriorforum.com.

I was trying to change my PW in '.com', thinking that I needed to....but it wasn't recognizing my email address. Even though I could login from the WF emails stored in my Gmail. And then I finally realized they seem to be two different sites.

Are they the same? Or not?

    They are very different. You can tell by looking at the crappy .net version.

    Freelancer should get that taken down for trademark infringement. An obvious ripoff site.

      It appears that the .net variant was created in 2004, whereas the .com was created in 2001, so I'm surprised that Allen Says didn't have them shut down, and the domain transferred to him.

        Allen didn't really seem to defend his trademark. A lot of people used it for their own purposes. This is the first time I've seen the net version or even heard about it.

          I wonder if Allen originally owned this version....

          That domain had little on it over the years - until AFTER FL bought out the WF.

          Prior to that (2012-2013) the domain was listed "for sale" on the site and on SEDO.

          It's clearly not run by EFL people so I doubt Freelancer is behind it - surprised they are tolerating it. Since this "WSO site" appears to have been started after FL bought the WF...I think they could do something about it.
