My memory ain't what it used to be: Was she the woman who pretended to be a lawyer?

The last time AlisonG (Allison Guarani)* surfaced that we know of she was living in Washington and was using the identity and picture/avatar of a girl in Washington "The Italian Guru" - and the girl had no idea what Star Similien had done to people here.

She believed Star was being persecuted here and that was why she needed an AKA. Her story was she was a teacher who was unemployed, among other things. What next. lawyer, teacher, Indian Chief?

We called the girl and Star got kicked out of her house and of course we got the ID banned. (Time to get back to work.) She was homeless and tried to commit suicide - I am sure it was all just part of her new hustle - and sorry she failed in her attempt - (try and try again Star)

(Note also AKA Jimmy Richards - James N. Richards on the Warrior Forum) *Allison Guarani is the lawyer's name she was impersonating)

The problem is typical of what happens when too many people do nothing - in my case I had all the numbers for the Attorney General in Texas, the agency that would bust her for impersonating a lawyer, and etc. (the amount she stole from me was not enough for the FBI to bother with.)

Then I caved out of 'sympathy' for her illness - symptoms of which are being a psychopathic liar. (she has a speach impediment and other deformities - I felt sorry for her and wanted to help her before I found out she was playing a criminal game). That was some time ago. Wrote it off at my stupidity for not checking on her tall tales in front.

A few months back, out of the blue - over a year later, I got of all things a helpdesk ticket she sent me telling me how sorry she was and how she was going to pay me back. I didn't really believe her, but set up a Paypal account where she could make payments just in case. (one that had no information she could use - in fact it had no accounts attached to it, so that I would have had to ask Paypal to mail me a check).

However then when she wrote again I told her this did not mean I would be friends with her or would ever associate with her, even if she paid me back and That the extent of any communication would be to accept the payments.

Guess what? She never paid me dime? Shocking huh? hahahaha.

She will get hers one day - she will rip off someone who will 'PAY HER BACK'...


p.s. I have contacted these people on the link given - is she back in the Warrior Forum? If so could someone please PM me her username - or post it here and out the bitch before she leaves more victims here.

She already ripped off thousands of dollars from Warriors. Let's make sure she doesn't do it again - last time she was here she was selling writing services in her sig.

Note on the link - it is people who do work for her and don't get paid, people who order things from her and don't receive anything - people who trust her and want to help her that get screwed. She is a malicious monster. Even UGLIER on the inside than she is on the surface.

She took tens of thousands of dollars here from people selling her legal services when she is not a lawyer.

She hires people to help her and doesn't pay them. She sells services and doesn't deliver or sells you plagerized documents.

She plays on people's sympathy with her disability.

This is real serious stuff with legal - for example you think you have a lawyer working for you and you are protected. Push comes to shove you got nothing but a fricking liar on your side. You start a business with a legal agreement that is not legal.

You have something written for you and you publish it - problem is now you have a copyright violation against you - capiche? (lol and no attorney)

Why do I take it so personally - even more than the $1500 I lost personally? Because I was dumb enough to 'vouch for her' and 'recommend' her in the very beginning, before I realized what she was doing to me. (she was recommended to me by someone I trusted in the WF who I had done business with) - I feel a huge amount of guilt because others may have been harmed.

I tried to find the info for you Michael but couldn't. I could have sworn it was on MMurtha's name and shame site, but I don't see it there either. But like Patrician said, she ripped a lot of people off.

She has an obvious speach impediment if you talk to her - she will tell you it is a 'lisp' but when you talk to her you can barely understand her.

A few people have seen her in person - she has a deformed arm and other limb deformities - she is not faking the disabilities - she is faking everything else to get money.

She must have a pretty good line if she's duped people out of that much money.

I thought that she would have been in jail long ago after impersonating a lawyer. Where the hell is the legal system?

I reported her to the authorities in TX Sal but never heard back from them. She didn't like me long before then though.

Ha - she can't call me a moron any more- I've been edumacating myself and now I'm I a full idiot with a goal of being stupid next year.....

I agree though - little girls get busted for having lemonade stands and this person keeps on going - where are the authorities when you need them?

She said the company had just contacted her and that they were working on a case that involved 5 LLL.coms. Patty then told me they would sell her the names for the same price I was going to pay for the original 2 LLL.coms we had contracted for. Patty then went ahead and sent the money to company. Keep in mind I now doubt any of this is actually true.

Upon being informed of this, I expressed that I was skeptical and would prefer to just have the 2 names we had agreed to; but Patty assured me that the 5 names would be transferred to my account within 2 days and I would be thrilled.

To make a long story short, after 2 days, and now almost 4 weeks....I have yet to receive a single thing. Not a single domain name, or even the materials for our original development deal. Every question is met with evasion or excuses. After filing a dispute with PayPal, Patty reluctantly agreed to give me a refund. Even that seems to be a lie. It's always "waiting on so-and-so to sign a contract" or "I'm waiting for the funds to transfer to my account." Everything is always "in a few days" and then after a few days it's "just another day or two."

I believe most people are fundamentally decent, so I tried to give Patty the benefit of the doubt for as long as I could. Unfortunately, the evidence became too overwhelming. I would never make a public comment as to someone's character and reputation (a negative comment) unless I was absolutely sure it was necessary and grounded in truth. For one it can ruin that person's reputation in the industry, and it also will naturally call into question the reputation of the person making the claim.
That being said, I believe this post is necessary and I'm glad someone else has shared their similar experience. As domainers we are very much a community. A community built on trust. Part of being a good member of the community is alerting others to those who are violating that trust.

Like I stated, I have no other thing to say except I deal with a lot of people. I am a people pleaser. I hate to say no especially if I KNOW I can help you.

I was banned because we were giving legal advice/helping people set up entities without being licensed. Taking cash payments for it as well. We have paid everyone back for that. Well, I fortunately never paid for some legal contract templates I wanted from her - but unfortunately I did pay for articles she never wrote and she never refunded my up front money.

Why wasn't she N/A'd? I can't say, but it might well remove evidence that is seen as being important to preserve.

Andrea Deluca, also known as Starlita Patrice Similian, Star Similian, Jamie Similian and Patty Similian, was located at a Front Beach Road motel, taken into custody without incident and sent to the Bay County Jail, according to the release.

Deluca allegedly rented a downtown office and posed as an attorney. A woman reported her to the Sheriff's Office after Deluca accepted $1,000 to represent her in a civil matter and never completed any work, authorities reported. Investigators learned Deluca is not a member of the Florida Bar, but she is wanted in the state of Texas for grand theft.

Well Jody - there are 'dunderheads' (who don't see/don't look)

... and then there must be 'rebels' - they will ignore advice because they know better -

... and then those that take the back of the so-called 'underdog' - I have seen people defend her time and again when there is post after post with people screaming to get their money back. Yeah everybody is imagining it because they are just haters that are 'picking' on poor Star.

Then there are lazy people like me that ask a few questions, but don't really take the time to do the research - it is easier to just trust - yeah right. My 'gut instincts' are usually wrong...

So while one might say that all of the above 'deserve' what they get, I am sure that is one of the rationalizations crooks like Star use to justify what they do.

It's been a painful lesson - but still a lesson.

Just shows people like this can't help them-selves. It really is a sickness of the mind.

The Bay County Sheriff’s Office has located and arrested the woman known as Andrea J. Deluca.

A complaint had been filed against Deluca by a victim alleging that Deluca presented herself as an attorney and took $1000 to perform legal services. The victim stated that Deluca did not do any of the work she was retained to do. Investigation has determined that Deluca is not a member of the Florida Bar.

Deluca was located at a motel on Front Beach Road, Panama City Beach, by BCSO Warrants Deputies and was taken into custody without incident.

Deluca, who also uses the name Starlita Similien, was taken to the Bay County Jail and booked. She faces first appearance tomorrow.

She also went by the name Andy DeLuca and not only did she represent herself as an attorney, a JD at that, she scammed many other people out of money and they're piling in with complaints. She caused me major harm and by her using the web and other crimes that are federal, I hope we can put her away until mankind evolves an extra step. Also compensation for her victims. The new information I've gathered comes from an internet marketing website that is in fact the biggest and most popular in that industry. Victims came pouring in with info as soon as I posted about her arrest. There's so much info and so many victims it will take me an extra day to gather it all, make it comprehensible so that Det. Vecker can look at it. Problem here is where to file complaints. LAPD was again totally clueless in this matter. It took the detective I talked to 10 minutes to find the name and address to the station nearest me and it's the biggest and most popular. LAPD's cyber crime unit is useless. So in my case because I didn't get money stolen I might not be able to file for fraud but I might be able to file a complaint with the FBI as with many other people. She caused a major mess and it will take time to sift through it all but I can tell you this, thanks to the Bay County Sheriff's office her arrest has sent shockwaves through internet as crooks now realize they're not that anonymous as they thought! Put the fear of God in these creeps.

Well. Another slap on the wrist - 3 felony convictions - 48 months probation and 100 hours of community service. At least maybe this means she will be confined to Florida for a while(?)

A complete and total miscarriage of justice. She may be confined to Florida for now, but I doubt that will prevent her from carrying on where she left off.

She's done it before, and gotten away with it. I can't see probation stopping her - she's had to much time to perfect her game. I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if she has already opened a new WF account.

The thing that I see that is so ludicrous is that running from state to state - they don't 'cross-check' or even care about charges or complaints anywhere else - although in this case they were at least considered on some level to be relevant - and maybe only to confirm her 'real' identity.

Even if she has been convicted and is on probation in Florida - even though she has cases in other states that are still pending - they don't cross-check - so even if she gets busted in Mississippi next it won't affect her probation being revoked in Florida. (would it?)

So that is another way she always gets by - she is doing a tour of the US defrauding as she goes - and changing locations, changing names is a ploy used by many criminal enterprises - they get shut down in one place and they just go to another with a new name - no paper trail unless somebody really has investigative skills/resources.

She likes the drama she creates and especially the getting caught - I think she wants to go to prison and be 'notorious'. So until she gets to her destination, she will keep trying.

It's creepy knowing she is probably reading this.

However God told me that it is not her that is evil but the evil that is in her.

We have it in all of us but she CHOOSES to entertain it.

In fact she seems incapable of not doing so - no matter what.

She is wicked for sure, but it is still sad that it is so.

Next court date is Oct. 24/12 at 9 am. She is being held without bond (YAHOO!!!). Its my understanding you are entitled to a bail hearing within ten days of your arraignment. There is no mention of this, so maybe this Judge has a backbone?

That is what I say is ludicrous Jody - We have an FBI - FEDERAL - which to me means all the states in the US - however there doesn't seem to be any benefit to knowing she has judgements in other states prior to this case in Florida.

The FBI apparently doesn't get involved except for like committing crimes that involve crossing state lines literally in the commission of the crime. Hopping along crime waves that are disparate don't seem to be on the radar.

Each state has "no jurisdiction" in another - I get that part - in this case at least they did consider her past records in WA, OR, and TX - but only in so far as establishing who she really is.

In other words this new alias Andrea DeLuca just 'fell off a turnip truck' there in FL and technically she has no past record or offenses.

When in fact STAR has multiple arrests, convictions and probations in the past. To FL this is irrelevant. To me it should not be - it should constitute grounds for more serious 'punishment' being she is a repeat offender.

And in fact this sort of thing happens all the time - crooks just move from state to state and start a new life of crime. It is compounded now by our porous 'border' where crooks come here illegally - we have no idea who they are. They commit crimes and then flee to Mexico on a daily basis by the hundreds.

Good luck if we can't even coordinate our state crime databases, ever finding Mexicans criminals.

I am not sure where 'extradition' plays in here - I guess you have to be NOTORIOUS - maybe felonies are not necessarily considered CAPITAL crimes - and maybe it is different if you murder somebody - I dunno.

(and I really don't know - these statements are all just conjecture - what I THINK I know - so please correct me if I am wrong).


I just wish I knew what she did to violate her probation in 2 days! LOL. I wonder if it was the Facebook statement? (since one stipulation of probation was 'no contact' with the victims - and there she is inviting them back for more of her 'good intentions'...)

It does sound draconian there, Ken - however:

I am laughing my head off though because Star sure did blow it by going there! It was about time somehow she paid some dues and she trapped herself real good this time.

As for the homeless people - I think different - even though they haven't really hurt anyone -- at least they have a 'home' of sorts in jail. shelter, a bed, food and relative safety compared to sleeping on the street. It costs money so if they want to play bookkeeping and have them do time in lieu of paying fines, maybe that is justified.

I know that many people care only about 'civil rights' and because of that they love leniency for offenders. However, I feel more sympathy for the victims and I am tired of seeing the perps walk and the victims just have to eat it - so I take my hat off to a state that is not 'bleeding heart'.

In many cases if it is a truly victimless crime then I don't feel as fascist about it. Even drug abuse I feel is a symptom of sickness of the mind and as long as they don't hurt anybody but themselves (steal, etc) I think they should be locked up only in so far as that is a way to 'detox' in a controlled environment. It may even save their life because the next hit could always be their last. (and of course I don't feel pot should even be against the law/or at the least have prescriptions like we do here on the left coast).

So I have a hard time in most cases feeling that FL is so off-base. I know the Sheriff in that county where she was busted is right on for using the technology at his disposal to help get Star and other offenders in custody and then to have evidence to pursue it.

It is a real shame that we don't have more law enforcement that doesn't have their hands tied by a lack of manpower, finances, cyber power and too many 'rights' for crooks.

My only concern is that innocent people are not wrongfully convicted. That there is real scary. Thank God for organizations that will go to bat for them.

People are probably sick of me quoting "Freedom is not License" but it is still one of my favorite sayings. We are not free to violate other people's rights just because we have freedom.

So more power to ya, FL! Right now you are my favorite state!
