Still Worth it to Pay for a Signature?

Do signatures still work? I notice that I'll have to pay $5 for a signature. Also, the new modern view seems like it doesn't show the signature. Would like your expert opinion

    There used to be a rule here years ago,
    that if your sig file was larger than your post it was deleted.
    Can you imagine the improvement that would make today?

    Oh yes, finally I found the answers which confused me a whole afternoon, it;s true only the classic version the signature links are visible, while the modern are not. that's it!!

    Even it says it's no follow links but I still think it's worth doing, anyway, nofollow and dofollow mix is the best way of link building.

    I would like to know if there is any forum like this who will get the signature link after pay? show me some if someone knows
