I have been on this for weeks now and nowhere nearer to a solution, someone must have the answer, but I have not found them.

My problem is this:

When I use Camtasia to do a screen capture video the quality is fine on my local pc, but when viewing online, it is not a good enough quality for what I want it for, which is training videos.

I have tried numerous file formats, screen resolution, bit rates, frame rates, and God knows what else, but it just is not happening.

I have been told one answer is to buy a Mac, and use Screenflow and Camtwist, which I am told is much better for this sort of stuff.

Anyone have any other ideas or comments?

One way is I could offer the videos for download, but I would rather have them online and people be able to view them online.

I checked out a lot of the Camtasia Videos online and they are crappy, but there are good ones as well, so someone does have the answer. I only have Camtasia 3, and I was wondering if I upgraded to 6, will that sort my problem out. They are looking $150 for me to upgrade, but before paying out that money, I would want to know that it was going to do the job I want it to.

Otherwise I might as well put that money towards a new Mac

Comments Appreciated.

Kindest

Gordon
