Can someone please tell me how the Hybrid Electric Vehicle/cars works?

I just need to know whether have you been ever owned a hybrid/electric car and how do you feel about them?

    Hello,
    I can tell you one thing about them they are so quiet when you back up that no one can hear it so it can be a little dangerous, I read a article somewhere that they will be required to have a beep beep like trucks do.

    Maybe you should state the brand, etc... I know there have been different types in the past. The gas part COULD even work like a normal gas engine, or produce electricity. The electrical part can actually use electric motors like in toy cars only more efficient and bigger. Transmissions can work differently also, brake mechanisms can work differently. Why are you asking anyway? Various companies MAY have block diagrams that show the different components and basic functions. The schematics, etc... MIGHT already be in public repair manuals. BUT, last I knew, almost every company was working on CUSTOM motors, batteries, brakes, etc... AND they have custom software, so don't think you can go to some electronics store and just pick up the parts.
