I ask this question out of curiosity after my wife and I gave birth to our baby (she did most of the work) I got about 4 hours of sleep in 3 days. She has gotten less. But the longest Ive gone straight is just 2 days.

How long have you been without sleep?

The longest I've gone without sleep is probably about 31 hours. Lately though, the longest I've gone without sleep is lucky to be more than 4 hours, hahaha.

Oh I've been through that one with the babies...hooo maaaan,

The longest though was 3 1/2 days...no drug crap or anything like that...was actually military crap...the funny thing was after all that I had a hard time falling asleep.
We used to call it 'so tired, your wired'..

Enjoy your baby...it's a great time.

Hit the nail on the head Jim!

53 hours for me, yea i counted, figured it was some sort of record! hahah
      you got me beat though

It seemed like every single time I would lay down, I would have a new idea, and get back up to chase after that one, or note it on the dry erase board, I never let an idea run away, but i sure as hell will let sleep go

The bad thing was, it took a week or more to get back on a normal schedule! hahahah

      Cheers to the Future,

4 days for me. That was a long time ago though and something I would rather leave in the past. It was fun though.

33 hours, while walking up and down mountains in the middle of winter for 96km to raise funds for youth projects. Doing it again this year, but hoping to be a bit quicker :-/

Flew from Sydney to Manizales in Columbia non-stop, 3 plane trips.

Don't recommend the 37 hour trip to anyone...
Then another 6 hours with friends before getting some sleep... (yawn...)

I worked for 48 hours straight at a gas-station once, because a few of my co-workers decided to all quit at the same time. - I was a teenager then, and spending money was more important than sleep.
