A Piddling Rant

Tihomir Petrov is a 43 yr old math professor at California State. He has published many scholarly works such as "Rationality of Moduli of Elliptic Fibrations with Fixed Monodromy".

In January Professor Petrov was arrested. Seems he was feuding with a colleague and was caught on camera urinating on the office door of said colleague....twice.

Guess no matter how many advanced degrees you earn - there's still a little boy inside ready to start a pissing contest.

    If not for the fact that you said boy, I would have thanked you. Believe it or not, WOMEN have been caught doing the SAME thing even in RESTAURANTS! Yeah, money and degrees don't mean you really have ANY more CLASS. 8-( If only the world were that simple. BTW did you MEAN to imply what piddling can imply?

    I have always believed that people that are smart lack common sense - it's like a piece of the brain that gives common sense is removed and added to the academic part. I swear everyone I know that is really smart academically is really lacking in common sense, socially and emotionally.

    Sometimes I'm glad I'm not overly academic because at least I've got the common sense - well at least I don't urinate just anywhere

      I couldn't agree more Sheryl, some of the seemingly dumbest people I have ever met were in college. Years ago my company sub contracted to USC.
      There were times when all I could say was "what color is the sun on your planet?"

      I can't tell you how many people I have worked with that fall under that catagory.
