Apparently Trey Pennington took his life today on the steps of a church

He suffered from depression.

RIP Trey and prayers for your family and online friends who will suffer your loss.

His last Tweet 9 hours ago said: "Sure am thankful for online friends who are real friends offline, too. Love you."

Please get help if you're reading this and feeling suicidal. Depression is a monster. But there's light at the end of the tunnel.

I just read about this and very saddened by this news. I have depression myself and I know how bad it can get if untreated, especially while facing some very negative life situations.

What is sad is that often people give no clues that they are in trouble.

I second Tiffany's message. If you are feeling that lost or hurt -- tell someone. Tell anyone. Just start talking. Someone will respond if you ask for help.
