Advice needed regarding refund request

Hi Guys,

I have a problem I'm hoping someone can advise me on.

A couple of months ago I purchased online training from a well known, and I believed credible, source. I attended the first class which wasn't recorded as was advertised before I joined. Knowing I wouldn't be able to attend live I immediately emailed, explaining the situation and asking for a refund.

I received a reply trying to convince me to stay on so as to take advantage of one of the course bonuses. I wrote back saying I already had access to the bonuses due to having taken a previous course (plus upsell) with this person. I received a reply saying I would be refunded and that I would be emailed when this occurred. That was about six weeks ago. I haven't received a refund, and the numerous emails I've sent regarding this have not been answered.

Any advice on what I should do? I outlayed several hundred dollars. Should have known better as the previous course was very disorganized with many cancellations and it was hardly ever recorded.

I've been trying to get something going online since February and have been let down a few times by people not delivering what was promised. I don't want to give up, but it is very disappointing, frustrating, discouraging, not to mention expensive when such things happen.
