Where To Start?
Hi all,
I'm a new member here, I joined up several days ago. About 10 years ago I was taken advantage of by a group of people who would go on a "dog and pony" show from city to city, selling their internet "rags to riches" program.
Unknown to me at time, was the fact that most of their software was worth about $5 at most, and here I was (like many others) shelling out $1000 to buy their crap!
Around 7 years after these events transpired, the attorney general in my state (Iowa) evidently contacted these crooks, and I was relieved to get back around $700 of the money that I had lost. :rolleyes:
So, fast forward to 2012, here I am, and willing to try SOME thing again. My problem is information over-load. I have received SO MANY advertisements in my e-mail! "This is what you need, try this, the best program for"..........Bla bla bla!
I'm left confused, and, yes afraid, nervous that I might be suckered again!
What is it that I want? Well, I believe that like most every one here that I would like to find a way to make at least $500 xtra per month to make my life a little easier. I have have used the internet since 1993, and I was a Cad drafter for 15 years so I know the tools, computers and internet very well. Hell I could even write HTML code about 11 years ago!
I'm just very hesitant to take a wrong step again!
Any suggestions, hints, tips etc? I would really appreciate it.
