Do you remember your dreams? What is the strangest one you've had?

Peoples' dreams fascinate me. I don't care about the academic psychoanalytic side particularly. I just like the imagery. Like an 'Inception' landscape.

My strangest ones involve falling, whether off a cliff or building or other height. I sometimes wake up with the sensation that I am still physically plummeting and it takes several seconds to combat the vertigo. Too strange.

Please share your dreams with this unconscious voyeur!

I remember my dreams for months at a time, then get either tired or run down and lose most of them. I've had so many bizarre ones that it would be hard to pick one - but the lucid dream that I had that stopped a series of plummeting elevator dreams is the kewlest. I was in the elavator and it began to free fall. I went into my dream and said "I can't do this anymore", pushed the button to stop it and got off. I've never had a dream that the elevator plummeted again.

One dream I still remember vividly today was one I had when I was about eight years old. It was during the Holiday Season before Christmas and Mom told us she was going to take us to see Santa Claus. She told us we couldn't be rude and should only ask him for one thing.

Well, I knew I wanted a new doll, actually, I wanted several. There were so many commercials with so many dolls that each did different things, I was perplexed in which one I wanted the most.

I dreamed I had a new doll that changed into a different doll every time I entered a different room. It was so cool because the changes were in shape, style, hair color, eyes, size, clothing, etc. Some were china dolls, some were soft babies, some were porcelain dolls, etc.

The dream was so vivid and real that upon waking, I looked beside me in the bed and my doll wasn't there. I searched the whole house for it and when I couldn't find it anywhere, I realized it must have been a dream and was devastated!

Funny how my little brain solved my problem in my dream. Sad how it couldn't be real, lol!

I'll bet Willy Wonka could make a doll like that.

I had a weird dream in which someone by the name of David Braybrooke asked me if I remember my dreams. Oh, wait! It's not a dream. Wow, freaky.

All right, the thing that disturbs me about my dreams is that music plays in tune, but I can't carry a tune in my awake state. Just after I woke up this morning, I whistled a tune from the Mary Poppins movie that was playing in my dream (!) and my wife, who's good at music, confirmed that it was in tune, but ten minutes later I didn't remember the tune.

I once dreamed that I was eating a giant marshmallow. When I woke up, I couldn't find my pillow.

A while back I had a cold, I went to sleep with a Kleenex in my hand & my arm hanging over the side of the bed. As soon as I dozed off, I let go of the Kleenex & it felt like I was falling (lol). I literally almost fell out of bed trying to stop myself from falling, which I wasn't really falling to begin with.

It's weird how falling in your sleep feels like it's actually happening.

I have a interesting story to tell. My dream was a recurring dream that lasted for years and years in my teens all the way up until one day they just stopped!

In my dream, I was feeling and seeing two huge granite round but more oblong boulders in slow motion rolling towards me. They would bump together, making me feel that fingers scratching down the chalk board, chills. At some point I would have en ought and wake up. When awaken, I felt the way one might feel if a mad dog chased you to the gate and you just had it closed in the nick. standing there, or in my case lying there wondering what just happened, till you finely shook it off.

The day my dream stopped. I was visiting at my parents house ,talking to my mother about us kids growing up when she said "When you was a baby I almost suffocated you. I had you in bed with me and rolled over you with you between my breast. I woke up and moved you away. I think you had stopped breathing. I glad I woke up when I did"

I have never had that dream again! What do you think happened. I have my theory. Would like to hears your.

I once had a lucid dream where I decided to go through a wall in my house and into the next room. I was able to do it in the dream. It was interesting....

I remember all of my dreams, and I know because I dream every night lol.

Craziest dream I had was I went to sleep, woke up, decided I wanted a glass of water. So I head towards the stairs, and when I go to walk down them, I fly. I was flying down the stairs and Into the kitchen, but couldn't make It to the fridge for some reason.

I woke up, laughed a bit, and when I stood up to actually go to get some water, I was flying again. Except this time It was out of my window and I couldn't control which way I was going lol.

I woke up a third time after "smashing Into a house", a bit freaked out because I couldn't wake up before. Turns out I was still dreaming and my table In my room was filled with glasses of water stacked on each other. Realized I was still dreaming and waiting for something to happen. But nothing did, and I actually woke up, still not sure If I was dreaming lol.

Proceeded to get up without flying out the window, WALKED down the stairs, made It to the fridge and got my water, and didn't feel like going back to sleep so I played xbox lol.

Or am I still dreaming? :O haha

Back in 2006 I was newly single. It was Thanksgiving and ALL the dentists were closed and my tooth abscessed. I ate several bulbs of garlic and some golden seal, etc. but the fever got pretty bad and I don't know yet if I was hallucinating or dreaming. I was in bed though and looked around and the whole house was draped with blankets and "strings" like the tunnel inside a spiderweb. For some reason I knew my ex was inside the tunnels somewhere stalking me. I drifted out of that and things were normal when I woke up and ate some more garlic and herbs and got the infection down a little bit and it didn't repeat- but yikes. I still wonder if it was a hallucination or a dream.
