We all have had certain books play a roll in our personal development. What book have your enjoyed the most and why did it play an important factor in your life.

Would you recommend this book as a must read, for all us to benefit from or was it more of a personal book that you just enjoyed and helped you achieve some of your goals and desires.

To me my favourite book, "What They Don't Teach You At Harvard Business School: Notes From A Street-Smart Executive!!" it just had so much information that l grasped and still to this day referral too it.

look forward to your feed back...

If I had to pick one, it would probably be "The 4 Hour Workweek" by Timothy Ferriss, as it really put things into perspective for me. Although "Think and Grow Rich" by Napoleon Hill would probably be a close second. Several books by Seth Godin have had a big influence on me as well.

Currently, I'm about halfway through "Work The System" by Sam Carpenter, and I'd have to say it's going to rank right up there among my favorites.

I can't name just one, so here are a few of my favourites:

thank you Joe, you do have some quality books there no doubt at all, Dan Kennedy he was one my favorites, when l was involved in direct marketing the old fashion way, with a postal stamp. He tips and influence is really UN-measurable for the success l had with his teaching. I followed his tips and tricks to getting my sales letter read back then l was doing very well, with his teaching and too this day l still refer to some of his sales letters. Yes times have changed but humans have not!!!!

I think I was most influenced by the insights of Horace Bartholomew Schmidt, legendary door-to-door salesman, the Man In The Plaid Suit himself. He didn't actually write a book, but memos that he occasionally would accidentally leave behind in diners and whatnot, and would be collected by waitresses or whoever else would come across his notes and become spellbound at their great wisdom. Many a small town waitress or train porter would become wealthy as a result of reading his notes.

No one book in particular. The E Myth Revisited was one though. Nothing Down by Robert Allen. Not a marketing book but a very inspirational business book. Just about everything Robert Ringer wrote.

Yes Robert Allen was one of the first shooters to influence me that l could make an additional income, so l order his library of Tapes "Streams of income" one of the best libraries of financial advise l have in my collection. I enjoy his easy approach to explaining concepts and sharing his knowledge...

I could not possibly choose a single book out of the large canon
of influential writings that I have built over the last couple of decades.

But I will share that the last really good book that I purchased
    was Mastery, by Robert Greene.

Great point, way too many good books, to be study or just read... There is a difference whether your just reading it or studying it..

If l really had to pick one. it would more then likely be Atlas Shrugged, yes this is the one... for many reasons...

Creative ability of painting a story with words, that still work today..

Futuristic abilities of providing some what results, that had to be thought of back in that era of time. That have now presented them self's... wicked!!

Ayn Ryan was a true writer, that is a giving. She wrote another great book that l have treasured and adored. ..............Fountainhead

If you ever get addicted to this wonderful writer, you can thank me one day...

      enjoy!!

    Interesting question.

You know, I reckon I've got more inspiration out of blog posts about (online) marketing than I have any book on the subject.

It is a tough call. However, I think that the book Platform: Get Noticed in a Noisy World by Michael Hyatt has influenced my marketing tactics most so far.

The phone book, like that, it has never motivated me, most times the numbers are incorrect.. So more or less not a very wise book to read, perhaps a check book would work better in some cases!!!
