Microsoft IllumiRoom full demonstration for next-generation Xbox

    Whilst this is definately somewhat impressive the drawbacks are quite substantial.

    The whole system depends upon the player being at a distance from the screen that I'm guessing is much further away that they would usually sit.

    The player then comprimises the main element (the screen) for the secondary effects (the projector) which also depends a platform to sit upon, assuming their TV isn't a supersize in which case the problem would be lessened.

    I do think it's something that could lead onto something more useable though as most things tend to do.

    Reaally glad they didn't make a big deal about this feature with the xbox one, would have hurt their launch more than it already is.. Playstation 4 ftw!
