    I've gone for World Cup, but I am also a fan of the superbowl and the champions league final in football - World Cup trumps everything else for me though.

    Being British, It has to be the World Cup or the Euro Cup!

    Football or soccer is so big over here. I always book the three weeks of surrounding those two events.

    I invest a lot of time into watching those two events, and am always gutted when they end!

    It's got to be the World Superbowl for me. There's nothing like watching a batter hit a three run homer right through the uprights from beyond the three point line to score a touchdown. Unless there are too many icing penalties that slow the game down, then it gets boring.

      I hate when the ball's in the crease and the player balks causing a free kick. You know on the free kick some jagoff is going to hold, causing a reset.

      This crap doesn't happen in lawn bowling.

        Yea but lawn bowling has players field dressing their shuttlecocks while they're in the penalty box, so that doesn't help much when shifting their yard dart unless they call a technical foul.
