Hello Everyone!

Hi guys, I'd just like to introduce myself to the forum. I have run across it once or twice in the past but quite a bit recently and this looks like the place for me to learn all I can.

I have just started a business where I offer computer/network services to homes and businesses and social media marketing services.

I have no experience with marketing in any form but decided to do everything I could to learn about it when I had the chance to work with some business owners and saw what a hard time small business owners are having in my area (and probably everywhere).

I jumped on an opportunity to build a website for a small local business having never built one before and have since built two (one of them my own). In all honesty I never want to build a website that's not my own again (and will only build my own if I can't afford to pay someone). I'm not the best graphic designer and it took everything I had to design what that guy wanted (I also received no direction on layout, no pictures, and no content so I learned his business from the ground up).

I am also in the process of starting a blog. I have some posts written on my laptop and the domain reserved. All that's left is to build the wordpress site and create some more content. The point of the blog will be to talk about doing positive things, even very small things, and how greatly they can affect people and the world around you. The only part I'm struggling with so far is trying not to come off preachy or self serving.

So that's a little bit about me. I have a lot of dreams I'm trying to act on right now. I waited too long to start and I'm stuck in high gear right now until something pans out. Glad to meet you guys!
