So That's Where My Key Was!

Recently, I forked out a significant amount of money to have locks changed, new FOBs, security reprogramming.

Today, my son, 3, requested that I help him retrieve a little toy in an unused slot in my computer. I looked in and my key plus FOB were there too, and retrieved it all. Thank you, son!

TB, I'm unclear if the key and fob your son led you to was the new one or one that had been lost thus causing you to spend that significantly large sum to have locks changed.

I didn't know which way to comment, so I'll just say kids are awesome and no matter what, you wouldn't trade them for the world.

Those were the lost ones that we had to replace, lol. That was all said and done, so the effect of seeing it made me laugh more than anything else. I was actually relieved that they hadn't been in the hands of thieves at any time.

Yes, kids are awesome. Today I we were at a farmer's market children's play space and it is a joy watching the the kids playing together with giant bowling pins, drawing with chalk on the sidewalk, working on crafts, getting face-paint jobs (his was Spiderman), spontaneously breaking into dance and song for no apparent reason.

My favorite place to watch children at play is at the beach where you can watch them splash in the water, make mud pies and sand castles, collecting shells, playing tag at the edge of the water, the littler ones in the shallow part walking on their hands and kicking their feet calling out, look, I can swim.

All of those things coupled with their peals of laughter is just heart warming for me.
