    4. The Placebo Effect- Sugar Pills can relieve Pain and remove symptoms of major illnesses. Scientists are still not sure how the mind is able to do this. How powerful is mind over matter. What could this mean for the pharmaceutical companies?
    I had to chuckle about that one, probably means more BS and hysteria!

    Or more funding to find a cure as long as it involves gene manipulation, that ends up costing the same as a house or mansion by the time the patient gets the diagnoses!

    And more of the local goon squad's raiding highly dangerous people who offer cheap herbs, and get an almost 100% success rate!

    The system needs an overhaul, with a few a**** that hide behind rules, and cause undue suffering to be shot!

      Interesting!
      I was especially interested in the Naga Fireballs since I used to live in Laos... crossed the Mekong MANY times but never heard of the fireballs when I was there.

      The others are really interesting too - love science things like this.

      Our world is an amazing place!

          It is Claude. You see I finally diagnosed his condition using Divining Rods. He was suffering from Sadd (not the sun deprivation one) "Science Aesthetic Deprivation Disorder"

          I just sent him some placebo sugar tablets and said take 2 a day and they will cure it. Now you see the new Claude before you. He even hung a flower basket outside his store. I'm hoping after he has finished the course he will buy some flowers to put in it!

            I also take it that you put him in a room with grated sunlight, padded walls and 3, (there's that number again) bits of tech, then slowly took them away one by one?


            If he didn't end up drooling on the floor, holding on tight to his beloved vacumn cleaner, then there is hope?


            But l suspect many more sessions to come! Sigh! :rolleyes:

    I find this topic interesting but I wish the article went into a bit more details and with a few facts... if possible. I did look up the Naga fireballs and saw some pics and videos - very interesting!
