Thanks for caring. It might not have worked out well for him elsewhere.

Not a good way to say it I wanted you to watch when I was trying to catch him But it was impossible to record and catch at the same time. He was one of a fast seagull

Got to expect a wild animal to bite a human picking it up. Look how big you are compared to him - and his instincts were screaming you were dangerous. Now that he knows you are safe, don't be surprised to find him around again.........of course, the vet might have traumatized him out of a re-visit.

Not a "Flock of Seagulls", then!

Hmmm, from the looks of the houses, he may have been casing your house?

        Good video, thought!

Great job of helping the seagull. I still hope he is OK to fly. Perhaps he just likes to swim more than fly.
Taking him to the vet was an excellent thing to you to do.
I was involved in a similar situation with a screech owl once. I wish I had video taped it.

Seagull meat is tasty but so is seagull wine.

EDIT: With some disappointment, I have seen that you have released it into the wild.

but seagulls are trusting creatures, surely it will come back to you soon enough?

releasing him to a lake was the vet's advise and I really think that it would make him better. Its his habitat eventually.

Did he say if his meat would be more tender? ??

I know that for cows if they are relaxed vs. stressed up all the time it makes their meat more tender.
