The Real Deal Offline Series: "Cheat Your Way To Offline Success?"
I'm a cheater and I admit it.
From time to time, tools or resources come along that make our lives and jobs as offliner marketers super-simple and definitely cuts corners.
I just had one of those moments this past month.
See, over the last month or so, I've been testing two crazy successful and powerful plugins called Local Pages Ninja and Core Conversions and it seriously feels like I'm cheating.
Here's why:
With very little work (writing 8 short 300 to four hundred word articles), I've been able to get hundreds of #1 rankings in cities and towns in my target area for eight of my clients.
When I first heard about the plugin and what the creators were claiming the plugins could accomplish, I was skeptical, BUT being a sucker for software that makes my life easier, I purchased the plug-ins to test them for myself.
After setting up eight websites and setting up the plugins to give them a test drive, I told myself to forget about it for a month and then I went back to focusing my money making actions.
Then, a couple of weeks later I started checking my rankings for random keywords. The first five or ten posts had a few #1 rankings, but as I started checking more and more using software and some by hand, I noticed that hundreds of my test pages were ranking for local keywords.
I was shocked!
I was able to achieve those rankings with the Local Pages Ninja plugin and redirect the visitors to a high converting salespage using the Core Conversions plugin.
Now, I'm scaling it up using my virtual assistant to completely dominate several lucrative niches using cpa, clickbank and lead generation for my offline clients.
Now, with that being said, this is not about promoting those two plugins, because as you'll notice, I don't have affiliate links here, have never spoken to the creators of those plugins, don't even know if they're still on the market and will not be compensated one penny for talking about my results.
My purpose in telling you this is to encourage you to think outside of the box as you stumble across powerful offline resources. Using the skills you're developing for your clients, you can build your own online business.
Even though we are offline marketers, don't close the door on making income from several different sources using the tools you pick up for your offline clients.
I know there's a bunch of junk floating around online about offline marketing, but as you develop your skills and get a little cash start to expand a little bit into other lucrative markets to supplement your offline income.
It sure takes a little pressure off of me to know that I have a extra $3,000 - $5,000 to be able to afford to run marketing campaigns for my offline business without having to service another two or three more clients.
Hope this helps,
Chris
