OFFLINE MARKETING

Is there a business you want to reach, but just can't figure out who the owner is?

Do you want their name, phone number, etc?

Well, check out these sites which will give you the info:

infoUSA

Jigsaw

Manta

If you can't make it through the gatekeeper to get through to the business owner, try taking their name/State and do a Google search. You may luck out and get their home address and phone.

I love Manta. I cut my teeth starting out using that free resourcing until I had the resources to start paying for leads. Having the business owners name is EVERYTHING (ok, maybe not everything, but darn close)

We use Hoovers | Business solutions from Hoovers . It's not cheap - but extremely worth it to know who to talk to right off the bat. You pay for excellent data pulled from many sources and you get that, plus a bunch of other data.

  LinkedIn can also be useful for larger businesses. Also, many of these research databases are available through your local library. In King County WA we can access online through our library card tons of great databases that are normally fee based. You're paying for the library, use it! And... if you don;t know what resource to use go to a branch library and ask the librarian, they will give you all the help you need. It's an awesome, and free resource.
