Business Models for Shop Windows
Hello,
I'm interested in starting an online business for off line businesses. The idea is to essentially to provide a shop window for a certain type of business that haven't got an online presence and I'm interested in peoples views/experiences of using the specific business model I am looking it.
The business model is based on two key revenue streams:
1. Monthly or annual subscription for hosting, marketing and SEO for the clients business
2. 1-3% commission on client sales
A third revenue stream at some point would be advertising but think that would come in the second phase of development due to maturity of the core product.
I'm very new to this and assume this model is nothing new but interested in people views of this particular one.
