I was driving by Taco Bell yesterday when I saw this large cut out:
I had to stare at it for awhile because I was looking for the short code and keyword. They are making people purchase a large drink or a combo just to get the keyword and code.
At first I didn't like the idea of putting an extra step into the opt-in process but I can see how this can make signing up seem more exclusive and special. I wonder if they will have a higher opt-in rate and increase sales of large drinks and combos?
