Calling out Adam!

John Durham has been sent an invitation to join in on the challenge as well. I know many doubters on this forum that would love to see John step up to the plate and accept the challenge. $100 on the line if he thinks he can beat me.

As long as it brings drama and discussion, I love the idea

To be declared a winner, you must bring in atleast 3k in October. I brought in 1600 last month. Hard to declare anyone a winner with those kind of numbers. The winner must have atleast 3k plus to get the $100. If neither of us gets to 3k, both have to send $100 to the charity the other one picks out. We could up the ante if John Durham decided to put his allowance where his mouth is? I know this southern boy could take both of yall's money. haha

The discussion and dram will be good with me and Adam. Much better if Mr. John Durham(aka PhonePro dude) joins in on the challenge. I have been hit up by about a dozen people in the past month questioning John's claims. Everyone just wants to see what he can do today. I think it would be good for the whole forum if Mr. John Durham stepped up to the plate and accepted my challenge.

Lol... The journey of Chris and Adam... Surely has been an awesome one to witness. This is like the clash of the titans here. Its so awesome to see the bonds that form through working along side each other, even if its online.

Ps. My brother is staying over, because he has business here... He wants to cold call all the major car dealerships here, because he does sales training seminars...

Anyway, I was reading this to him and he wants to join.

He said "Tell them my goal is 5k today", and I said "The WF dont work like that, you have to contribute for yourself...", so I think he may join tonight...lol

He just called me, after being out cold calling for only an hour and a half and said he has already booked $3200 at his first call.

Dude has a great system for closing people on sales training seminars. He sells sales training to pro salesman, if that means anything, and gets 350 per attendee per day. Usually a class has 10 -20 people and he does a couple or a few classes per week. Then cold calls new clients for the rest of the week. He actually has a residual because many lots have him now on a regular schedule to come train once per month or whatever...

Anyway, I tried to help my friend DW share his expertise here, but he wants to write a report and be done with it...doesnt want to participate in the forums.

I think my bro has alot to share that would be useful here. Im hoping he gets involved and I know he will close 5k today. He closed $4800 last Thursday when he was in for a day.

I'd like to see him become a warrior. He's a freekin awesome teacher... and although he trains new car salesman (top of the line mercedes dealerships...), every two minutes something comes out of his mouth that is revolutionary for offline marketing PERIOD... So I would love to see him share on here.

This is off topic, but when he just called me he said "Tell em I closed $3200 already", and I said "At the WF you have to tell them yourself, they dont respect people talking for other people...".

So it would be cool for me if he joined. Hope to see him on tonight.

BTW, he does have some experience working with me in internet marketing too... we had a little phone room together back in 2003 that did hundreds of thousands...

Both of us came from the projects... cool huh. We were not statistically very likely to succeed at anything, but we both are top competitors in our fields. So is my other brother who is a one in a million success in MLM.

Is your brother selling the same thing we are? I use to sell 300k motor homes. Can't compare that with offline. All that matter is the bottom line!!!!!!!!!!!!

UPDATE-

As you know, I am a good ole boy that tells it like it is. I will be honest with you, I brought in $0 from my offline marketing business last week. I do have a couple residuals that should be in this week plus I think atleast 1 new gig. The pipeline of prospects is stacking up so I think a few will come through.


I WILL MAKE A MINIMUM OF 3K IN OCTOBER! THAT IS A GUARANTEE!

I will continue to keep everyone posted on my progress.

UPDATE -

In being 100% transparent (seems it's hard to find on this site) I only pulled in $260 last week and that was all residuals. No new customers. That is not going to cut it and I am sick of "balling on a budget".

No bets were made at the sportsbook this weekend because of that.

Chris is a diehard Bama fan and Bama plays LSU (the 2 best teams in college football, besides Michigan) and we have never met, Chris and I, but we would like to watch it together, either here in Vegas or in Tuscaloosa. This is our month that we put this challenge out there to keep us on our toes and to, hopefully, motivate some other peeps on here.

It's weird, being a business owner, I like Mondays mores than Fridays now. Never in a million years would I thought I have ever said that.

Everyone let's make it the best week ever. Until next week, when we double our revenue from this week.

LOL interesting thread here......I'm pulling for both of you guys!!! Who are you guys targeting for new recurring? What services? I might be biased but one of the quickest and easiest to land is really tattoo shops with sms. Skip all the long detailed steps and just walk in there, the owners are in the shops a lot. Just walk in there, get the owner and get straight to the point about why building an sms list should be mandatory for them to increase business! Most tattoo shop owners are super down to earth! Take it or leave it, just a quick word.

John-I understand totally what you are saying and that is what I am working on. Luckily, I am pretty damn frugal so I always keep $$$ back for a rainy day. That being said, I have to make a minimum of 3k per month on a bad month. I still believe that is very possible this month. I will keep you posted on my real results. Didn't start this thread to impress anyone or blow smoke up anyones a$$ .

Same thing as last year- Basic 5 page websites for $500-$1000 down and a small monthly rate... Just like the original telemarketing report, but Im about to get into something different (Much higher price tags, and using the directory model- An upscale Bower method).

I will also take an appointment setting contract here or there if the price is right, and if I need it to balance the month out...have done a few of those this year.

This year my income has been about 50% online and 50% offline, with a couple of other online projects beginning to produce income outside of TMF...

Wont mention exact income figures but I will tell you that my fixed monthly bills are more than 5k per month, so that cant even be my MINIMUM income...

SIGH... 2012 Will be The Year That John Durham is A Millionaire again!
