Potential lead - Should I re-arrange the time or not?

Hi there

I sent out some emails offering a service and got a reply to give the guy a call back on Tuesday at 10am.

Should I re arrange for another time to "be in control"

Or is it no point trying to play mind games to just think you're in control at this point?

Thanks

I would call. No point in playing mind games. He already gave you the control by calling you back. You might call one or two minutes late but that's it. People on both sides of the sale are well aware of games.

Call back at the time he set. It's rare for someone to tell you exactly when they want to be communicated with, especially from unsolicited email. This may mean he's deliberately set aside specific time to talk with you, and will be focused on the call. Much better than "call me sometime." Make sure you have qualifying questions ready.

Call back... he took the time to call and fix a time to talk more... that should be considered.
also like kaniganj said... he may have set aside time so he can talk in detail.

are you serious! A prospect gives you a clear message as to a good time to call and your thinking about jerking him around.... desicion makers value reliability call him at 10am
