Approach Clients Through Email

So I think I have mastered ranking on GP at this moment and I was really going to get into this business, but I read that if you are not local it's really hard to get a lead through email. So my question is, is it worth it going on GP offline business through email or I should look into something else?

    Hi Thomas,
    I am starting to use video email to great success. It is something very new to most people and people are more likely to watch a personal video you have created than a normal written email.

    I know dentists who get 30 emails a day about SEO.

    Get creative like Giuseppe says.

    It's about "building a relationship". Be a face they can see rather than "just another email for the spam box".

    Email works if you can give away something they can really use. Like a website that they can upload and use immediately.

    Email works if they OPT IN. If you're pitching the service, you'll be seen as an amateur.

    Know how many emails I get a day for the numerous sites I have, of people offering different services? At least 100 a day. Know how many of them I report as spam? over 100 a day. Eventually, enough spam reports, you'll be blacklisted and not be able to send email from your IP or domain.

    Real business is not done through email... real business is done in person or over the phone.

    If you aren't prepared to pick up the phone, then you aren't prepared to run a business and succeed.

    Yes there are other lead generation techniques, and sometimes you will have results with email, but NEVER should you rely on one technique. Real marketing is not one aspect, it is many combined to compliment each other.

    I see email similarly to SMS. You send me an uninvited one, and you're deleted! To me, email (like SMS) is for communicating with people you know, not for 'cold calling'.

    What I wish to suggest you:
    1- don't run a business before planning anything such as finding a business in your local market
    2- Find some businesses that can provide you great commissions such as as lawyer
    3- target that business with a network of websites & try to make some serious cash.

    In my new product that's exactly what I was focusing to explain.
