Not Succeeding At Offline Marketing? It's Your fault!

After seeing Dexx's vid he posted in another thread, I liked it so much I started watching others Eric has.

We have to blame ourselves for our inability to succeed! Stop blaming this, that or someone else.

Watch this starting at time 1:10 inside the video...also, why not watch the whole series on Youtube. This guy is great!

One of the powerful lines you learn to use as a copywriter is:

    "it's not your fault".

Because one easy way of selling a product to someone is to tell them that all their problems are not their fault at all...they were just missing this great new product that will solve everything for them.

But when it really comes down to it you do have to take responsibility for your actions, adapt and learn from the results you're getting (or not getting) so you can improve on what you're doing to get the results you want.

On the warrior forum the most common problem I see is people looking for more information somehow thinking that some magic bullet of information will propel them to success.

As soon as you realize that there is no magic bullet and you just need to take action (talking to business owners is just not that complicated) then things will start to move for you.

Will you get hired the first business owner you talk to....maybe...probably not.

    But you'll learn from it.

And the more you do and the more you pay attention the better you'll get at this.

And if you're not willing to do that then it really is your fault lol.

    Kindest regards,
    Andrew Cavanagh

Yes when we move from "get rich quick" to "get rich by working for it" that's when the results start to happen. Too many people live in a fantasy land that their parents, partner, children, friends, government, clients, other WF forum members should take care of them. They think people should just help out without offering anything of value in return.

They don't value other people's time and expect everything to be handed to them on a silver platter.

Shift your attitude, become personally responsible for your success and the sky is the limit.

Awesome video. Dude is really passionate. It really does make a difference when you take responsibility for your actions no matter how big or small. You were late for an appointment today because your car wouldn't start. Is it the car's fault for not starting or is it your fault for not conducting the proper maintenance? It's amazing how many things people dismiss and blame on some outside source.

It reminds me of a most pertinent quote. An acquaintance of mine quotes a friend of his as saying: You can make progress or you can make excuses; you can't do both.

More from the Hip Hop preacher! This guy is great. If you're ever feeling down at all just watch a couple of his videos. He really does put things in prospective when he talks about how he used to be homeless so he knows what pain is like. I can't image what it would take to dig yourself out of a hole that deep, but he did it.

Just goes to show that when you have someone hang up on you or you have a sale fall through that you just need to pick up and start again.

I have seen several of his videos and they are all spot on. Let me tell you. I am the guys that has had amazing ideas yet didn't take the action to make them happen. I was always looking for the "thing" in needed to make things happen. I just recently decided that I don't NEED andther "thing" to make anyhting happen. I only need to put pen to paper, fingers to keys, and vioce to ears, etc to get things done. I have taken steps everyday for the last month and i am amazed at what I have accomplished with the little time I have had to do it. Each day try to apply yourself to a task or two if that is all the time you have to spare, but do it each day. I am realistically a day or two from luanching my first membership website with about 100 different pages on the site. It was intimidating to get started because where do you start? But by just doing one thing at a time and not worrying about the big picture so much, I will actually have a membership site on line and being promoted. It may not make me 6 figures, but I am conifident it will help bring in some money. Just take action and hold yourself to a higher level of responsibility to do something every day to make tomorrow better.

No more running, feel the pain, and enjoy!

I'm sorry to be the party pooper but I think if you are failing it is because you are not trying hard enough or you are not doing it properly. No need to involve other videos, promoting other people. This forum alone provides enough content for 99.95% of the Im people.

If you invest some money, time and effort you can succeed.

@perestroika I think we all agree with you. Honest investment of time, effort, and money and you will get a return, whether it is more knowledge or money or both, you will get something valuable for your investment.

Thank you for sharing another one of his videos with us. I like his outlook on things; I’m thinking I might have to check out his youtube for more. I know I am guilty for blaming other things rather than realizing that it was my own negligence that caused it. Thanks again for the quick reminder.
