Question on tracking (leads-email, calls)

I'm implementing a new strategy for some of my clients, but I would like to be able to track to ensure its working. (Whether its on their site or just redirected).

Does anyone have any suggestions on monitoring / tracking?

i.e., if a person calls the company (say a real estate agent), how do I know that a person called?

If a person fills out the web form... it needs to go to them, but I also need a copy. Anyone know if that's possible with something like Aweber? (I only want it for tracking - not to contact the people).

Thoughts?

I use Call Fire and Kall8. I just signed up with a new company called Mongoose Metrics ($100/mo) which tracks calls, keywords, etc. I can't comment on them yet as I am still filling out the paperwork. Call Fire is $1/mo. Kall8 is $10/mo. I have no idea why I am still using Kall8. Just used to their dashboard, I guess.

On Aweber you can set up an alert when someone fills out the form you get notified. I plan to check my opt-ins at the end of each month and let them know how many new leads they received from emails and then look at the call log.

Yeah, I knew you could do that on Aweber, just wasn't sure if you could set the alert to go to two. I guess I'll have to check that out. (That way they get the real time lead, but then I also see it).

Thanks for the info on the others - I knew there was someone but couldn't remember who. Kall 8 is what I've heard of before... will have to see if these work in Canada.

Do they give you a special phone # then?

Yes, you can choose the number. I try to find a number with repeating digits so it's easier to remember.

What I heard works for Aweber is set up an email (ex: leads@yourdomain.com) and have Aweber send the leads there and in turn you can have that email forward you and your client in real time. I have not done this yet, but heard it works out.

    Hi Amber,

There is a WSO that just came out yesterday that will fill the bill for phone tracking. I was searching for an affordable solution for Canadian numbers and this is perfect as I already had Twilio! The Warrior is joetroyer.
