Can someone help me come up with a good call to action for a print campaign for a mortgage company?

Thanks

A concept you could focus on is, "Rates are not going to stay this low forever."
How will you feel when rates start to rise again, and you realize that you've cost yourself $22,298.40 by dragging your heels?

    That's the difference on a 30 year mortgage at 5.5% vs 5.0%.

You'll have to do the math yourself, as I don't know what rates are at the moment.

The lower the comparative rates, the smaller the difference but over time, it's huge.

Since I spent 13 yrs as a Mortgage Banker and once owned the largest aggregator of Mortgage Leads in the US supplying over 100 Major Lenders around the US I can tell you what has been COMPLETELY worn out...

Consumers have been desensitized to offers telling them the following:

    • Rates are going Up
    • Lower your Rate
    • Save on closing costs
    • "Bad Credit Accepted"
Historically, Consumers seem to respond better to an Extremely Low Interest Rate or a spelled out Dollar amount in Terms of a Payment in regards to a Loan amount.

Marketing for the Mortgage Industry is HIGHLY Competitive and there isnt much that hasnt been done.

Creativity is going to be key!

This is a time I would want to offer a free report for them to opt into through a 24 hr recording and/or squeeze page. Use a catchy title like "7 dirty secrets that you must know before refinancing" or "Avoid these 10 sneaky ways lenders screw you over". You get the picture.

I would like to see someone trying to emphasize savings over the life of the loan. As stated earlier even a half percent can make a big impact. So you have a picture of a house on one side and a picture of the house and a car on the other and the caption would be "which would you prefer?" or a house and house with a picture of kid graduating college and then the ad goes on to explain this concept and why they must take action to save now.
Focus on what the saving can buy vs just the savings.

Maybe play to the emotions sided of things. For instances, saying something like "Now is the right time to get that house you always wanted". Get them to think of what the mortgage is going to get them instead of the rate they can get. If you make them want something really bad a low interest rate just helps things out.

Make yourself stand out from the crowd that's telling ppl that rates are low right now.

    U know what I mean?

    Hope that helps!

      How about...

"We have screwed everyone else...now let us screw you, too!"

Sorry, bad experiences with mortgage brokers.
