Well.....mi amigos....today is Friday, May 25, 2012 and....I just walked into my "beautiful Home Office" overlooking my "Park-Like Back Yard"..... with 2 checks for $480ea ($960) for my "efforts" this afternoon (Earlier....starting at 10 am MY time....I collected 3 checks for $360 ea ($1,080).... so....TOTAL for Today, May 25. 2012....$960 + $1,080 = $2,040 TODAY... bringing a TOTAL for my "efforts" from a "Simple Idea" to $12,200 since May 14 (Monday, 2012)
Thus proving....once again...."GOOD MONEY MAKING IDEAS ARE ALL AROUND!"
So....rather than expounding or "Hyping" this....or trying to SELL anything....I simply want to SHARE MY EXCITEMENT.....with other "Doers".
I'll provide some details AND 2 photos...below.....for ONE REASON.....NOT to try and sell any "Fellow Warriers" on buying something BUT....to show.... WHAT IS POSSIBLE....with just an idea!
So....the Real Estate Market is down down....BUT....my area is 125mi N of the CA border. People are "Flocking" to our "Calm, Sedate...Great Fishing and GREAT Scenery"!
So...a real estate broker (at our daily coffee-clatch), last April....tells me, "Things are REALLY picking up!" In fact....the Home Buyers are Flocking in.
So....I go to my home pc and upload a program I did some years ago. It's a 11 x 17 sheet of paper, folded down to 8 1/2 by 11....that contains info that people HUNTING FOR HOUSES....can us.
Info like: WHAT kind of House do they want....How Much do they want to Spend (what's their Budget)....what kind of Mortgage Rates are available locally AND....a place to write in the Features of Houses they visit (BIG reason for House-Hunters to KEEP my Brochure)
So....I print out a Sample....run it over to my RE Broker's boss and.... WHALA....HE LOVES IT!
He sees that my "little" brochure CAN....INDEED....HELP RE Agents....SELL HOUSES!
So....he tells me to "GO FOR IT!" And....I get excited BUT....I bring myself back down to "reality" and ask...."Would you take a minute to fill in my "Referral Form"....showing WHO....YOU would rather have ON my Brochure.
I'd rather have ad sponsors YOU deal with....and who KNOW you....rather than businesses you've never dealt with.
He agrees by saying; "Hey Yeah!" We deal with X for our Mortgages and X for our RealEstate Attorneys and X for our House Painter...etc.
So....he fills in my "Preferred Advertiser" sheet and....Guess What....when I phone these businesses and tell that that I'm working with "Todd from X Realty"....guess what the person on the other end of the line says to me;
"OHHH Yeah!....Todd has sent us BOOO COOOH Business over the years! I'd LOVE to participate in anything he's doing!"
I don't know about you follks reading this BUT....if you can understand the "Psychology" working here....as to "Selling something"....there's NO GREATER POWER THAT IMPLIED APPROVAL!"
Which means; "Hey! It's NOT just YOU...saying THIS deal is GOOD....it's a business (or service) that has been SENDING THEM BUSINESS...for Umpteen Years....saying THIS DEAL...IS GOOD!"
So....the businesses you call...really DON'T GIVE A (excuse my French) "RAT'S ASS" about YOU....or whatever YOU are "peddling"!
They are Paying attention to your call....listening to your Sales Spiel and... writing a check to little ol' you......because of ONE THING!
HOLD ON....THIS IS PROBABLY THE MOST IMPORTANT SALES Technique you will ever know!
They are "writing a check to YOU because they....FEEL THEY OWE the Realtor you're working with!
Can you see the POWER behind this?
The biz owners (Services, Dentists, Doctors...etc) are willing to write a check made out to YOU....because they feel they OWE the realtor you're dealing with!
WHOOPEEE FIZZZ! What I'm about to relate to you is NO BS!
When I walk into one of the "Referred Businesses" a Realtor has given me....most of the time....the response I get is...."Oh! Hi! To whom do I make my check to and.... what's the amount?"
I'm talking POWER Here! RAW Power!
The people I go to see, who the Realtor has SENT me to see.....because the Realtor has been sending business TO THEM...FOR YEARS.....does NOT care about ANYTHING....OTHER THAN....RE-PAYING THE REALTOR...FOR ALL THE BUSINESS HE'S SENT THEM!
So....hope you can share in MY excitement and....again....I'm NOT selling anything here! I just want want to relay the POSSIBILITIES of what is possible.
