Sales/Lead Funnel Understanding

Hi,
I'm a web developer and now that my company has grown and the number of leads I have has expanded, I've been looking into CRMs to help me manage everything,

Many of these CRMs have sales/lead pipeline management areas and I have no idea how to setup such a pipeline. Some even have it so that once you check "initial contact" it automagically creates a follow-up task for you later. Can someone direct me to a good book or resource so I can understand this?

Basically once I get a lead my workflow is simple:

1. Initial contact email with lead.
2. Email later on in time (e.g. a week later) to setup Free Consultation.
3. Have Free Consultation or keep sending follow-ups every few weeks until I can schedule the consultation or I give up.
4. Close deal and get paid OR keep sending follow-ups every few weeks until I close the deal or give up.

Thanks in advance!

    Beck,
You can look into a couple of systems. These are Systems that require some web skill but at the same time they are proven.

    Option # 1 - OfficeAutoPilot.com they re-launching as Ontraport.com in 2 months.

Option # 2 - FusionHQ.com Same type of system... Better Templates not as Robust.

Then these 2 options are a step under that...

Nanacast.com - Excellent Platform easy to use
Kajabi.com - Drag and Drop system... Somewhat Robust, Lacking in a couple of areas but Funnels are easy peasy.
Here is a Kajabi Funnel - You're Almost There! Click the Button Below and Get Going
and one located at Experts Academy - Millionaire Training for The New Class of Experts

These should help... I use Kajabi but when Office Auto Pilot Re launchs we will probably upgrade.
