Hi,

I am considering purchasing the Barter Arbitrage program by Vegas Vince and Silva Rolfe.

I research info about the course on the forum and most of the posts are a few years old.

I was wondering if any warriors have bought the course and what are your experiences with the program?

Also, I read somewhere on the forum the Silvia is no longer with the trading platform ITEX. Is this true? Any thoughts will be appreciated. Thanks!

    I was in BA when it was launched here on WF. The concept is very simple, find products to buy / control that are cheap to buy with cash, yet command much higher prices on trade.

    Shoot for at least 10x markup, so spend $100 cash and turn it into 1000 trade $, that's the first step. Next is to cash out, find items on trade to buy with your 1000 trade $ that have a high cash price, buy widget for 1000 trade that is worth 600 or more in real world.

    That is the concept, does it work? In my case it did to a certain extent. I bought a product for $1 nd sold on trade for 75 easy enough, another item I bought for 12 cash and sold on trade for 175, then I cashed out with advertising, bought ads on trade and used for my own business needs and sold excess for cash money. That was pretty slick..

    What to watch out for- ITEX monthly fees, add up and the commission that you pay on buying and selling adds up real quick, you have to cash out fast...

    So there you have it, I could not take it beyond the level of a few 1000, then again I did
    not spend my whole time at it.

    If you are good wheeler dealer type with contacts and lots of time then give it a go.

    There are other trading platforms, do some research and check their market places and see if you spot any good opportunities.

      Thank you Susie! So you did have some success with the program but just didn't make it a full-time endeavor out of it. By the way you seem to have summarized the barter biz in that short post! I going to do more research in this biz before I decide to purchase the program. Thanks again.
