The Proper Way to Upsell Using a Funnel?
Let's say your customer has been presold. They are coming to your page to make a purchase. In your opinion, what is the best way to both upsell them and get them to subscribe to your list?
Each step is a different page on the website.
Version 1
1) Get them to the landing page via preselling *click buy*
2) Sell the product *click order*
3) Thank you for your order. Ask for email address to get on list and a free something *click submit or no thank you*
4) Attempt to upsell

Version 2
1)Get them to the landing page via preselling and offer a way to get on the list
2) Ask for email address
3) Redirect to the product you already presold them on
4) Attempt to upsell

Version 3
1) Get them to the landing page via preselling
2)Sell the product
3) Thank you for your purchase. Attempt to upsell. (Click Yes or No)
4) Thank you again. Ask for email to get on list.
I have my opinions on this, but I'd like to hear others as there are pros and cons to each method. And I am ignoring that you could just add them to your list after they buy from you. Let's pretend that is not an option.
