In Affiliate Marketing, for PPC advertising, paying $.01 per click, If I put in $1, which is 100 clicks for a high demand search term, will that be enough to get commissions fast? Like tonight? Since its a high demand search term? Or do I need more traffic then just 100 visitors, to get any real income? If so, How much atleast?

It actually depends on the niche you belong into as well as the amount that you already consider to be an income... If you can generate at least 100 visitors a day on a constant basis, you'd be sure to earn revenues by the end of the week...

Cmon man, do you really think anyone else has answers for these questions?

You're the only one that can have these answers from your own data/testing.

So, what does your own data say?

I don't have any data yet, I haven't even begun to promote a product. I was just wondering if someone doesn't have money to afford 1000s or more in traffic right now, If just 100s in traffic good enough for some commission income.

You have to test different Offers and Landing pages, track your Keywords to understand what is converting. Please note a keyword can be having lots of searches but the offer is not appealing or appealing to different countries and different cities within the country.
So this things will be of benefit to know whats working and whats not to be able to make significant amount of money.

For success in PPC you need a fairly good budget and mastering it can make you profit beyond imagination.

    Thank You

  • You're not likely to get much if any exposure with one cent clicks. I assume you mean bidding one cent. Especially not on what you say are high demand keywords.

It's always possible you could get sales tonight but it's unlikely. You have never done PPC so unless you are very good and lucky, you will probably not do everything right, from keywords to ads to your sales page. Unless you have a marketing degree, that's a lot of things to go right on day one to expect success.

My suggestion is to just do it, you'll learn things as you go and adjust. As Yukon said, you need to test.

It's not about how much money you put into it, it's how you execute. One person could spend $1000 and get just $500 in returns while another could spend $200 and get $400 in returns.

Many times you will get more than $1 with a just 100 page views and Even sometimes, you'll have a great traffic and you won't earn even a penny.

It's something unpredictable. It depends on hell lot of factors. Few of them are:-
Which type of ads you are serving on your site i.e rich media, text or link ad.
    What are your site topic.
Form which demographic you are getting the users to your website.
What are the bid of that ad on which your user clicked.

Without testing, we can say nothing. Building an email list is prominent if you want to scale and make it a real business that will reward in future.
