Lightbulb What Is This Type of Code Called?

Hello,
This is a simpleton's question I know, but I had a hard disk crash and lost my notes about this type of code: "& #104;& #116;& #116;& #112;& #58;& #47;& #47;"

(Space added after the "&" so that it would print as code and not be immediately translated into "http://")

I use it in link cloaking but lost the 2 url's of sites that will translate to and from for free...

What is it called?

Where can I find sites/software that will encrypt to it and decode from it?

Been driving me crazy trying to get answers when I don't know what it is called! :-)

Thanks!

I also use this website for URL decoding/encoding:

URL Decoder/Encoder

Thanks, Luckies! That is just what the Doctor ordered! It gives the code in pure numeric, have to insert the "&#" before and the ";" afterward, but NotePad handles that job fast!

Thanks also TristanPerry! That site is useful too!

I was using a site with a URL something like 'http://tokira.com/unicode" that let you input your text and gave you back the coded text in &#DD; form, where DD is the 2-4digit number, but I am not remembering that url exactly right. Anyone know it? Can anyone give me the right url?

I got it from "ProjectX" a couple years back... It was in their template for coding affiliate codes, using frames to keep your url in the browser window while your prospect visited the Seller's website. Works very well as it also adds another page to your website, where you can add your KW's and get credit from the SE's.

Now with a way to get the coding done I can continue using it!

Thanks to all!
