WP Plugin for Real Estate Agents

I'm looking for a wp plugin that will show an agents listings from the MLS.

I found one called listingpress1.0.3 but it carries a cost of 499 for registration and 49 bucks a month thereafter.

I have heard that there are free plugins out there but I haven't been able to find any that will work with wp 2.8+

Hi, Debra. I did some research on this a while ago. Have a look at this list of real estate themes for WP. Some are free and some are paid. But they appear to be reasonably priced, under $100. They transform WP into a good platform for displaying RE listings without needing additional plugins. However, they won't automatically pull your listings from the MLS, if that's what you're looking for.

You can install a free trial Real Estate Website Solutions @ AgentXL : Real Estate Marketing 2.0

It's got a blog engine, listings manager, crm and more.

If your designer can't skin it, we can take any WP theme you like and skin the suite with it.

I am paying $60 a month for my template and it is getting old. That does NOT include the ability to search for any real estate (an additional $30). Sure, if I was making the mega bucks or at least a decent income, the cost would be acceptable. Now, struggling every inch, it is too much.

Not to hi-jack the thread (and if you consider that I did, please contact the moderators or pm me and I will remove this).

Is there a way that I can copy my template website into wordpress and ditch the money sucking?

What about you? If you are a Realtor, how do you keep your costs down?

I'm not a realtor. I just seo thier sites and create thier market reach for better sales online.

I was hoping to get some answers to the program suggested above because it looked like it might be right up my alley of what I'm looking for.

If you need someone to mimic your template and recode it for wordpress. I have someone that I can refer to you that I often end up working side by side with in doing just that.

Try this plugin Great Real Estate Great Real Estate plugin for WordPress

I am using it on my website at www.investinrealestate101.com click on deals. I am not an agent so I don't have it connected to the mls. It has many more features than what I am using. We only have a single picture of our properties and not multiple pictures. If you do then you can use a showdowbox plugin to show them.

I downloaded that plugin and started the setup on it. Somewhere along the line to use it with the mls feeds it required 499.00 for registration and 49.00 a month thereafter.

Am I wrong...did I just get totally confused or is this one of those paid plugins?

As I mentioned I am not an agent so I don't connect to the mls so I don't know if the charge is correct or not. Sorry I could not answer the question.

why use plugin or a theme for wordpress? why dont you try out CMS actually designed for real estate? of course you could tweak them for SEO benefits
