Technical Question on Wordpress

PROGRAMMING

Would it be possible to have a wordpress membership site where when members join, a subdirectory would be created named after their member name and a wordpress site would be installed there for them?

For example a city baseball league

torontobaseball.com

when I join I create the team Milton Tigers and I have a wordpress site created just for me at torontobaseball.com/milton_tigers

And it's all done automatically.

Beginning with WordPress 3.0, it has this capability right out of the box. You just have to make one minor change in the default wp-config.php file. See the instructions in the WordPress Codex, and/or search for more info about "WordPress Multisite."

  It depends on the complexity. (What I mean is that in even the most straightforward tech job, there usually turn out to be hidden requirements that aren't obvious in a brief statement such as the one you posted.)
