Default Help with Forum Script

What are the best web forum scripts to use? I want to integrate a member support forum into one of my web sites, but haven't used any of the scripts out there before. Any easier to integrate or more powerful than the others?

Maybe, you could try the most convenient script to the forum readers. Don't be too much un detailed. Just make your script more relevant on your topic.

I wouldn't call it the best, but phpBB (that comes with cPanel's Fantasitco) is very easy to install and you could have a forum up and running in the next 10-15 mins..

SMF (which I have used before, and really like) is a bit slower to installer but works equally well..

Hope this helps

Bruce

Thanks for the suggestion, Bruce. I'm familiar with phpBB, but have never used it personally. I'm looking into SMF now though as that is new to me. I've always heard that phpBB has some security issues, but I don't know that to be fact. I guess with open source stuff, it is always an issue to be careful of.

Thanks again!

If paid script is alright for you, I would go with vbulletin.
