Problem With Wordpress

I need your urgent help.

I have make my blog to show a static page as my front page. Out of sudden for no reason, it is showing one of my post as the front page.

I have checked my setting on Reading and there is no change to the setting. It should still show one of my static page as the front page. In fact I have not made any changes to any of the setting.

I wonder what is happening? Is there a bug or something.

Any expert can help?

    I have finally resolve the problem by disabling all the plugins. The problem lies with:

    Redirection 2.1.13 A redirection manager By John Godley

    Once I disable this plugin all things return back to normal.

    Go to Redirection's plugin settings: Tools->Redirection
    Then goto Groups->Modified posts
    and delete all redirections listed there.
    Then test again.
    I love Redirection plugin minus glitches of course.

      I have no redirections listed under Modified posts and yet it over-ride my settings under Reading for my frontpage.

      I have enable it and still face the same problem. No choice have to disable again.
