How to Export WordPress Titles

I know the post titles are stored in the wp_posts table and I'm not really concerned with dynamic URLs. I've got access to my cPanel and I own Excel 2012.

Question.. I'm trying to export the titles of my posts so that I can have a nice Excel list of everything I've written. I can always search my WP site to find the actual URL but I'd love to just dump all the posts I've written at least the titles so I can use that.

Any ideas?

Through your cPanel account, you can use phpMyAdmin to export your wp_posts table to an excel spreadsheet. Unfortunately, you can choose which fields to export. To this, click on the wp_posts table, click the export tab at the top, choose Custom as the export method, choose CSV for MS Excel for the format, you then click Go.

That's what I did this morning but it doesn't put the information into columns. So it just dumps like one giant text file. There's really no table for the titles of the posts so it's just a mess.

It looks okay in the cPanel view. But when you export it, it's awful. Like it doesn't keep any of the structure.

    Thanks to Jack Duncan!

This shows me my titles and the url. So I've got my checklist for each post as I work thru them. Perfect solution.

"You can use a free tool called Xenu Link Sleuth to scan
your site and give you all the titles. It's also
a great tool to run from time to time to make
sure your links, images, etc. are all in top
    shape."
