Market Samurai Question

Hello, I have the paid version of Market Samurai and have found it useful for the most part but I know there is still a lot more for me to learn to be able to use it to it's full potential.

One thing I'm having questions on and wondering if anyone could help was I did an SEO Competition report on a term and our page showed up but I can't understand why a couple other pages are ranking higher. We're listed at #10 but I can't figure out why especially #2 and #6 are ranking so much higher when with everything I've watched in the tutorials tell me they shouldn't be...

here's a link to the report if anyone could please take a quick look and maybe explain it to me? Maybe I'm missing something but I've watched all the videos on the website for the SEO Competition so I'm not sure. Noble Samurai - SEO Competition Thanks.

    Ok, than what would you suggest to use that is better? I've read a lot of people here on the boards use it. But my biggest thing is trying to understand how these sites are ranking higher, their numbers don't make sense to me. Thanks.

    Pages on authority sites can rank higher than your site even if they don't have any backlinks. There are sites that regular ranking factors don't apply to. Google just ranks them because they love ranking them high.

    Hi,

    You have to be careful because some of these software programs are NOT always accurate. Even if you think they are, you have to remember that Google has over 200 ranking factors which would determine where a site would rank. I would just focus on providing solid information on your website and stick to a high level SEO link building campaign.

      That's the problem. Market Samurai does not give you any useful information for rankings.

      Crap like PR, number of links, number of EDU/GOV links... all useless data.

      None of the keyword tools take into account the quality of links, the site structure, the internal linking... you know, the shit that actually impacts rankings.
