Target the Website as Globally

My website is a local domain, but I need to target my website as Worldwide. Can you please suggest what are the steps I should follow.

    It takes time to target local domain globally as there is a competition difference in keywords. Also, you must use different startegy and websites to optimiza the website.

    Domain is just one of parameters Google takes into account in their algo, however, from experience, it's better to have a generic domain name if you are targeting global audience - soundly, local domains are best for local targeting.

    For Global targeting you should avoid doing everything you would usually do when targeting local audience - keywords you use for optimization, content & promotion should not contain geo modifier etc. Do not let Google crawlers think you are local

    Keep in mind that Google results will still be localized & personalized, so your website's rankings will differ in different locations.
