Site get de-indexed by Google after change to HTTPS
- SEO |
Most links are maintained except for 15 Portfolio pages URL were changed, due to how the theme was coded.
In my Google Webmaster Tools, I was having around 150+ pages in Google Index, after converted to HTTPS, it dropped to a pathetic 1 page and after almost 2 weeks now, I get 35 pages indexed, but that is still too low and too slow.
I've made 301 redirect in .htaccess to direct all non HTTPS to the HTTPS site, so it's impossible to visit the non HTTPS site now.
Also converted most pages' internal links and images to HTTPS only, other than my 50+ blog posts which were still using HTTP internal links, but they were automatically redirect by the 301 in .htaccess.
This has a massive impact to my traffic and of course, conversion.
Any idea or method to speed up Google Index? Has already tried Fetch as Google in webmaster and created a new site there for HTTPS version of the website.
